Corinna enjoys strong interest from nature lovers in all parts of the world. Most of this is based on traffic to the website.
Recently there was exposure for the Tarkine on French television. As a result of the part that Corinna played in that documentary, A French couple (pictured below), booked their holiday to specifically come to Corinna. After nine days on site, they said that the experience surpassed their wildest dreams.
Despite its remote location, Corinna attracts international visitors at about three times the rate of Tasmania in general. Sometimes the global significance of the Tarkine is taken for granted by locals.
We expect to continue to attract international and interstate visitors by direct marketing. Our choice not to use middle men taking high commissions, enables us to attract the people who will be interested in the experience and also to keep the prices at an accessible level.
