Corinna is your home in the wilderness – an oasis in the heart of the Tarkine. There are plenty of accommodation alternatives at Corinna, including four original miner’s cottages (one and two bedroom options), an old guest house (with single and double rooms and shared kitchen and bathroom facilities), and fourteen new wilderness retreats built to the original style, but with modern amenities including ensuites. The new wilderness retreats offer ten one bedroom cottages with Queen beds and four two bedroom cottages. The cottages all back directly onto the Tarkine rainforest. They have their own verandahs, fully equipped kitchens, rainwater tanks and heating. A stay in these cottages also provides access to the old produce store, with its communal barbecue, and the feeling of living in a remote mining town – with home comforts.

Guests staying at Corinna have access to boarded walks with interpretations, and a suite of other wilderness experiences .

The site is solar powered with back up generators. All cottages have gas heating and hot water and bathrooms, and the guest house boasts a beautiful log fire. While the cabins have a certain rustic external appearance, the experience inside is in contrast. Comfortable beds, hot showers, gas fridges and modern cooking facilities (no ovens), plus pure rainwater on tap, mean that you are “at home in the wilderness at Corinna”
